Purchased a new 2023 Chevrolet Bolt and after just 63 miles it said “reduced propulsion” “max 30 mph” on the highway and has now been at the dealer for over 5 weeks waiting for a second part they believe is needed. First they said an ABS module needed replacing. After two weeks at the dealer I picked it up and on the way home the same malfunction. Now they say some sort of transmission fluid pump needs replacing and they have no idea when it will be available. I wrote to Chevrolet/GM who has been abusively and callously unhelpful saying “we don’t know when the part may be available” and will not refund me or provide a functional replacement new vehicle. A new Bolt paid for in cash is a brick and I can’t even get a new car because they might one day fix it and I can’t rely that I’ll have a car when I need it because they might not fix it at all in any timely manner or they might say it’s fixed again only for it to fail again. This is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. You trust them and they screw you with a $30,500 purchase.
