Report it to your credit card as scam. Card will reimburse your money- but NOT the seller! Freeze your card for month or two if you can. Block all future charges from this seller on your credit card.
You will not be charged for a ring. However, if you ordered something online - you will not get it (especially when it is from China) Keep eye on your online orders, in the month before you receive your ring. Did you get everything you ordered? If not, open a dispute with your credit card to get your money back. Because it is scam.
Report this fraud to PayPal! They have a strong service – they will fight for your cause so that you get your money back. Absolutely do not agree to a partial refund! You have the right to get 100% of your money back and Pay Pal is very helpful in this.
It is very likely that you ordered something online 2-3 weeks ago. Maybe month. Instead of the expected package with the order, you got a ring. Everyone has it: a ring instead of an ordered product. Do nothing. It is scam. Try to recall what you ordered online and when. Because the ring always follows an unreceived order. Then report it to your credit card. (if they charged you)
Freeze your card for a month or two if you can, (if you have more than one card) to prevent unauthorized transactions. Report this charge to your card and open claim.
Report it to your credit card, as a claim, you will get temporary credit. And the bank from which you have the card will fight for a refund. If they don't win – credit is yours. If they win, the seller will be forced to give you a refund and temporary credit will be withdrawn. Dealing with a dishonest seller is long and painful, believe me! Because I did.
Yes... identical story: they said, "order was delivered", but was NOT. I filed a claim on my credit card and got temporary credit. And the network tried to convince me that it will send me another package. I did not agree and demanded a refund. At first, they wanted to give me back 50% of the amount I paid. I insisted on the return of the entire sum. That's what they said, 90%, that's the most we can give you. Again, I disagreed, and, in the end, they promised 100%.
