Strong weather battered the Cape Fear region throughout Saturday 16th evening and into Sunday afternoon. According to Duke Energy, about 4,000 people are without power, with over 1,000 outages located in both Leland and Wilmington. Nearly 300 outages have been reported in Sea Breeze.
