Customers lost power this morning in Rockland in Knox County after a strong storm impacted the area on Monday morning and last through the day. According to Central Maine Power there is also an outage in Friendship affecting 166 customers.

Central Maine Power is tracing the source of the outage in Knox County that happened just before 10 a.m. CMP will update the public when it has more information, the company said. As of 10:40 a.m. 15,904 customers were without power.
