Thousands of Connecticut residents were without power Friday morning as severe storms moved across the state. According to outage maps, over 6,000 Eversource customers were without power as of 8:38 a.m. The largest number of power outages were reported in Bristol and Plainville.
Residents tested positive for COVID-19 and employees were not notified and work in close proximity with residents. No proper PPE or hand sanitizer provided to employees.
Employees are not quarantining after testing positive, exposing other employees to COVID-19 transmission. The employer does not enforce mask wearing with employees or customers, putting employees at risk of exposure.
