Regulatory Report

Waikapu, 96793 Hawaii, United States

Residents in the Upper Kula and Lahaina areas are currently facing an unsafe water advisory. The advisory, which remains in effect until further notice, urges residents to refrain from drinking and boiling water from their taps due to potential contamination concerns.

To ensure the safety of the affected communities, the County Department of Water Supply has provided guidelines and precautions for residents to follow. These measures include:

- Bottled Water Usage: Residents are strongly advised to use bottled water for all drinking purposes, including brushing teeth, ice making, and food preparation. The consumption of tap water is discouraged until the advisory is lifted. Residents are unable to treat the water in any way to make it safe.
