I ordered a leather tote through a Facebook ad from what was supposed to be a Kate Spade website but actually was jcdsite.com. The price was $39.99 and with shipping, I paid $52.98. When I got my purchase, I discovered the tote is cheap plastic. The address on the package was: JANE, 371 Little Falls Rd., Ste 4, Cedar Grove NJ. 07009. I have googled that address and found numerous reports of fraudulent activity associated with it.
I did not get a packing slip. I have emailed the company several times about this and “Robert Byrnes” who admitted the company is located in China and who, in broken English, said they really didn’t want me to return the item, that I would pay for return shipping, and they they would refund me 20% of my purchase price ($8) if I didn’t return the item.
