Cough that lasted three to four weeks in 55 yo and 61 yo. Started with sore throat and runny nose, then became a cough that wasn’t the itchy-throat sort of cough, but one that originated in the chest from a feeling of congestion that needed clearing. Post-cough, I feel like I have less lung capacity. Neither of us has had a cough like this since we were kids. Mucinex DM helped loosen the phlegm and lessen the coughing.
