I got a ring I didn’t order. I don’t wear rings. I think its TEMU. I placed an order with them using my credit card for clothes that never came. I cancelled that card right away.

That happened to me. I bought a bed at Walmart and they sent me a key ring with a card saying that my order would arrive soon.

I don’t understand the scam. Why send anything at all?
Its not so much a scam. The companies in China do not want to pay the courier cost to have a $15 item returned to them, so they instruct the purchaser to return the goods to any address at all. Why not credit the purchaser and tell them to keep the article.

Not sure that’s true all the time. I received a silver necklace with a “22” pendant with a tiny inscription that says “Mama”. I just ordered something similar as a bday gift for my daughter through Etsy. The first order was refunded because they said got lost by courier (I felt scammed at that point but did receive a refund) and the second order was placed and received successfully with no issues. No idea how this happened :(
