Late night scrolling online game commercials. Advertised as a 90% off clearance sale of a closing store called Buy Buy Baby. Designed to look legitimate, so I placed my order including $2.00 shipping protection plan, and $14.99 for faster shipping. Since the order confirmation email specified received AKDT, I knew it would take some time. I placed, and paid for my order August 3, 2023. Since receiving the confirmation email with order number, there has been no further contact/information. The only contact info they offer, isinfo@couiat.shop. I have sent an email expressing my concerns and complaints. I am not holding my breath, waiting for response.
Scrolling through my monthly bank transactions, they actually took more than the total amount listed on the confirmation email.
I'm really hoping that I'm able to dispute the charge with my bank, and get my money back. If not, I'll have to chalk it up to learning my lessons the hard way.
The Buy Buy Baby site that I ordered from, had the lock symbol in the upper left corner of the site name. That's what made me feel okay about ordering. I really hope my info is not being sold.
