Don't know about this person but I'm disputing with my bank about a $50 scam. I've learned never to use my bank card to buy anything online, they won't back you up.
I use my card constantly on line, over the years there's an occasional disputed charge/fraudulent seller on Amazon/etc. Chase Bank, like any reputable bank, ALWAYS handles it: refunds charges, investigates, etc. I call them, report the fraudulent charge, they deal with it. I suggest you change banks promptly.

Why you didn't dispute the charge with your bank?
