1. The chains and hook for nine hoists have not been inspection within the last two years in the following areas: Three hoists in the Truck Shop Area; four hoists in the Dyno Room, one hoist in the Back Shop and one hoist in the Acid Tank Area. 2. The load capacity rating is not marked on nine hoists located in the Truck Shop Area, Dyno Room, Back Shop and the Acid Tank Area. 3. Eye protection is not provided to employees who are grinding and sanding metals, using a hammer and chisel, using power and pneumatic tools throughout the work area. 4. Foot protection is not required to be used by employees who work on engines and transmission throughout the work area. 5. Head protection is not provided to employees who are lifting engines and transmission with either an engine lift or hoist throughout the work area. 6. Hearing protection is not provided to employees who are running the dynamometer. 7. A written hazard communication program is not provided for five employees using diesel fuel, engine oils, barsol and brake fluid. 8. A COVID-19 pandemic plan has not been developed and implemented for employees to include employee wellness checks, disinfecting and sanitizing, social distancing, personal protective equipment, informing employees of possible exposure, employee return to work and employee training. Employees are not required to use a face covering. The employer does provide disinfecting sprays or cleaning to disinfect commonly touched surfaces.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2021-01-27
