1. Employees are potentially exposed to safety hazards associated with lack of proper PPE. It was reported that employees are not given the proper PPE to operate the hose to wash the kill floor. It was reported that the hose can reach temperatures in excess of 175 degrees Fahrenheit. Contrary to 29 CFR 1910.132(a). 2. Employees are potentially exposed to safety hazards associated with lack of PPE training. It was reported that employer did not train employees on the proper use of PPE when operating the hose on the kill floor which can reach temperatures in excess of 175 degrees Fahrenheit. Contrary to 29 CFR 1910.132(f). 3. Employees are potentially exposed to safety hazards associated with improper fitting PPE. It was reported that employees are given ill-fitting PPE in the form of footwear that does not provide the proper protection when using the hose on the kill floor. It was reported that the hose can reach temperatures in excess of 175 degrees Fahrenheit. Contrary to 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(iii). 4. Employees are exposed to health hazards associated with exposure to bloodborne pathogens. It was reported that employer provided work tools to employees that were contaminated with blood and not properly cleaned in advance. Contrary to 29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(4)(ii). 5. Employees are exposed to health hazards associated with exposure to COVID-19. It was reported that employees are potentially exposing other employees to COVID-19. It is alleged that a "blue hat" removed his mask and coughed in the face of another employee while stating it can result in "time off". Contrary to Section(5)(a)(1) of the OSH Act.Alleged Hazards: 5, Employees Exposed: 16
