Regulatory Report
6767 West O Avenue, Kalamazoo, 49009 Michigan, United States
1. MIOSHA Emergency Rules, Rule 5, Section 8 states that an employer shall create a policy prohibiting in-person work for employees to the extent that their work activities can feasibly be completed remotely. There is no remote work policy and employees' work activities can be completed remotely as we had done so from March 2020 to September 2020. 2. There are no check-in points at entrances of the campuses, meaning, nobody is monitoring the entrances for those coming in. Anyone can walk in and they could have symptoms or have COVID-19 or have been exposed and nobody is there to stop them or turn them away. 3. Nobody in the community college is monitoring that staff, employees and/or students are wearing face coverings (i.e., masks). The employees / staff and students that are wearing face coverings are not wearing them properly (i.e., fully covering mouth and nose). 4. Employees and staff of the community college are not being updated in a timely manner when employees and staff develop COVID-19. The staff and employees usually learn about COVID-19 cases from hearsay.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-10-28
