Employee conducts screening of patients prior to appointments and patients who screen positive to the questionnaire for COVID-19 are still being seen in the Women's health clinic. 1. The employer did not implement and maintain effective written procedures for the screening and referral of cases and suspected cases of AirIDs to appropriate facilities, T8 CCR 5199(c)(3). 2. The employer did not communicate with its employees regarding the suspected or confirmed infectious disease status of persons employees are exposed to in the course of their duties, T8 CCR 5199(c)(3)(4). Description: The gloves that the employer makes available are too large for some employees. 3. The employer did not furnish employees with the proper PPE required for the task, T8 CCR 3380(f)(1)(A)(B)(C). Description: Employees use paper towels to clean up blood as there is only one large industrial antiseptic bucket for the floor and not enough time to disinfect rooms between patients. 4. The employer did not ensure that surfaces contaminated with blood are disinfected immediately or as soon as feasible, T8 CCR 5193(d)(H)(l).
