1. A nurse recently passed away on November 12, 2021, after being diagnosed with COVID-19. It is presumed that the nurse was exposed to the virus at work and it was not reported to the NCDOL Occupational Safety and Health Division. 2. The employer is not doing a good job ensuring that nurses are being fit tested.
