Located at the Family Dollar store located on Indian River Road, Chesapeake, VA, the employer is not implementing precautions to protect employees from contracting and spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the workplace, in that, 1. Patrons/Customers are not required to wear face coverings. 2. Patrons/Customers are not wearing face coverings over nose and mouth. 3. Employees are not wearing face coverings over nose and mouth. 4. Employees are not authorized to enforce the use of face coverings with patrons/customers who enter the store. (Employees cannot refuse service, or ask patron/customer to leave premises, or ask them to put on a face covering) 5. Employee COVID-19 exposure and illness questionnaires are not completed and reviewed daily upon each employee's start of shift. 6. No temperature readings are being conducted for employees. 7. Cleaning and disinfecting supplies are not approved for killing the Coronavirus. 8. Employees who are experiencing signs and symptoms of COVID-19 illness are allowed to work. 9. Employees who have communicated with the employer that they have had an exposure with a COVID-19 positive person are allowed to work.
