The employer did not provide gowns and face shields or goggles that sanitation workers were told during COVID-19 safety meetings to use when cleaning the nursing units. 2. Sanitation workers were instructed by their supervisors to clean multiple nursing units at once with the same cleaning equipment. Sanitation workers were told in COVID-19 safety meetings to avoid cleaning multiple nursing units to limit cross-contamination.
