The employer failed to ensure a safe and healthful work environment to employees by complying with Hawaii Mayer's COVID-19 First Amended Emergency Rule No. 14, potentially exposing employees to SARS-CoV-2 when employees are working at the facility without proper use of hazard controls such as social distancing and face covering. 12-60-2(a)(3), HAR 2. The employer failed to maintain secure storage of merchandise. Unsecured heavy merchandise that is stacked high potentially exposing employees to crushed by hazard.
