Regulatory Report
1704 Eaton Drive, Grand Haven, 49417 Michigan, United States
The heavy machinery known as a WAV is used to pick orders from up to 20 feet from the floor. Many employees are at risk of serious injury because they are required to wear a face covering when raising and lowering the WAV. The effects of wearing a face covering, such as feeling light-headed and disoriented could cause an employee to pass out and injure an employee while operating the WAV. The team lead and supervisor are aware of the potential hazard. A request to not operate the WAV was denied by the supervisor.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-06-19
