Safety Report: Covid-19 OSHA Complaint, Eimo Technologies Inc, 110 Leja Drive, VICKSBURG, MI, 49097, USA

4 years ago business

Regulatory Report

110 North Leja Drive, Vicksburg, 49097 Michigan, United States

1. I worked for Eimo America Inc. for approximately 6 months. I returned to work after being laid off since March because of Covid-19. When contacted to return to work on June 14th I was told there were safety measures in place to make the workplace safe for all employees. When I returned to work on June 14, 2020, neither my 3rd shift supervisor, nor any other lead on the shift approached me with the new guidelines. 2. I was not provided with the five clean face masks that was stated in the new policy. 3. My temperature was never double checked or even documented that I took my own temperature like it says in their new policy. It states in their policy that employees are supposed to take their own temperatures. How do they know we as employees are even doing so, if they are not documenting our temperatures before our shifts? When I brought my concerns to my HR Manager on June 16th, 2020 she told me that I just needed to check my own temperature and if I did not like the new policy then I did not have to work and I could quit.
