1) The employer is not implementing precautions to protect employees from contracting and spreading the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the workplace: a) Employees are not provided an adequate supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) (i.e., gloves, masks, gowns, shields, etc.) for the handling and exposure to COVID positive patients. b) Employees have not received adequate training regarding the proper donning and doffing of PPE. c) Employees known or suspected to be infected with COVID-19 are allowed to report to and remain at work. d) The proper wearing (covering nose and mouth) of face coverings/masks by employees is not enforced or addressed by management. e) The employer has failed to report COVID positive employees to the Virginia Department of Labor in accordance with §16VAC25-220. 2) Employees pay for their own personal protective equipment (PPE) due to an inadequate supply provided by the employer. 3) The employer has failed to report employee death(s) that result from a workplace incident/exposure to the Virginia Department of Labor in accordance with §1904.39.Alleged Hazards: 3, Employees Exposed: 1
