An employee passed out yesterday during the day shift. Company is denying heat breaks and preventative measures for heat. Managers sent out mandate to get rid of masks to hep with heat, employees are provided with facemasks. People being disciplined for not meeting production quota, so people are being discouraged for taking breaks. The company put out a memo saying masks are voluntary until further notice. There is drinking water throughout facility, but employees are not drinking water for fear of disciplined. The managers are saying that it is not too hot, heat determined by thermometers placed in front of cooling fans, so employees are being told not hot enough to be taking extra breaks. Day shift works from 6:30 to 3:15 and swing shift starts at 4:15 and ends at 1:15 a.m. Supervisors are aware and say they will be doing something to help, but nothing has been changed for over a week.Alleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 1
