1.) The employer has not instituted additional precautions/procedures/Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for employees to assist in preventing employee exposure to the COVID-19 virus. Precautions/procedures to include, but not limited to, CDC/OSHA recommendations. Contrary to Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act of 1970. 2.) Approximately 8 employees working in Clinical Engineering /Healthcare Technology do not have a specific policy related to employee protection and Covid-19. Sick employees are encouraged or ordered to come to work. Employees work in close proximity to one another and only two employees wear masks. Employees are working at multiple healthcare facilities and returning to Pierre, SD. Those employees share common workspace and are not adhering to the CDC recommendations. Employees are not following sanitation protocol and wiping down shared areas and items such as the office printer, office tables, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.Alleged Hazards: 2, Employees Exposed: 8
