Employees who have been exposed to the coronavirus are told by their medical professionals to self-quarantine, but are being told by their employer to come in to work. HR has directed that employees who have been potentially exposed to coronavirus that they can work, even while there tests are pending, as long as they wear a mask and are asymptomatic. They are understaffed, employees are not able to come in if sick or quarantined. Employees have tested positive with coronavirus. Employees are re-using N95 masks, wearing them for weeks and are told to wear them until they are visibly soiled. The employees are re-using disposable masks and not disposing of them, and are told to wear them until they are visibly sold. The gowns are no longer being wiped down gowns with disinfectant. The employees are working directly with people who have potentially been exposed, are positive, are pending test results for coronavirus and they are potentially exposing their family members and the community.Source: Osha.gov | Receipt Date: 2020-03-31
