Regulatory Report
3822 116th Street Northeast, Marysville, 98271 Washington, United States
This complaint lists former and ongoing hazards at the MultiCare Indigo / Immediate Clinics in the Northern region. These hazards affect all employees working in the clinics below. Providers (nurse practitioners, physicians assistants, and physicians) at the height of COVID did not have proper PPE. There are no N95 or other respirators, though Providers do COVID testing and other aerosol generating procedures with potential exposure to COVID. They are still being required to reuse PPE and were instructed not to disinfect their gowns between patients. They are being asked to use unapproved wipes to clean rooms after patient visits. They are limited in the amount of wipes they can use. Each clinic is rationing the wipes, and have nothing to use when the wipes run out. MultiCare has furlough the supply manager so when supplies run out, even extremely pressing ones, there is no replacement as normal. Patient registration policies have changed. There are no barriers to protect the front desk workers. Providers can provide more information to L&I about their experiences.
