Regulatory Report

21 Highland Avenue Southeast, Roanoke, 24013 Virginia, United States

We were informed that an employee tested positive. Aware of six people that were exposed and sent to get tested 10/23/20. Two of them specifically asked management if they were supposed to come back to work and they were told yes that they could come back to work. All six of those employees that were tested came back to work the same day they were tested. One of those employees got their results on 10/25 and they were positive. This employee conducted screening tasks on 10/23/20. The Carilion testing site told the employee that she couldn't go back until she got her results. This is the 2nd time that our office has sent employees to get tested and expect them to come back to work before getting their results. No sanitization took place. 3 positive patients have sat in a crowded waiting room with patients considered to be at high risk; those people were not contacted and again absolutely no sanitization took place. No screening questions are required for over 200 patients per day in a small office. Nurses aren¿t able to get a proper lunch break and must eat at a the desk while many patients/coworkers come within 2 feet or less to converse with them with facial coverings pulled down by both the nurse and other individual.
