Regulatory Report
200 Knauss Drive, Martinsville, 24112 Virginia, United States
On the Pack Side, two employees have tested positive for COVID-19. One worked Friday and is now on ventilator at hospital in Chapel Hill. A second was confirmed on Friday 5/15/20. Employees are working today 5/18/20 with no idea and not sure if deep cleaning was or has been done. UPDATE 5/18/20 Finger scans when enter/exit building and no cleaning in between scans. UPDATE 5/19/20 If we can¿t socially distance on a line, at least clean in between shifts or require gloves. We are not being allowed to wipe down machine either at end of shift for incoming shift worker or at beginning of shift. Not everyone required to wear gloves so machines are being touches by multiple people with no sanitizing in between. Being told that we would be ¿pointed¿ if we don¿t feel comfortable working and/or call in sick. Demerit penalty points should not be used for COVID-19.Alleged Hazards: 1, Employees Exposed: 200
