Safety Report: Coronvirus side effects - moderna shot, Noblesville, IN, USA

Noblesville, Indiana, United States
I had my second shot of the Moderna vaccine on March 13. Side effects included light-headedness (Mild), fatigue (Moderate), body aches (Mild), and arm soreness (Mild). All side effects resolved within 48 hours. One thought-provoking bit of information is I take a disease-modifying drug (DMD), REBIF, for multiple sclerosis (MS). I read this particular drug was once considered a possible treatment for COVID-19 early on. I have taken REBIF for several years, which gave me the confidence I might not have otherwise felt if I were on a different DMD. The mode and method of how each DMD works are divergent; some repress the immune system, whereas REBIF does not. I have taken several DMD's over the years and have had MS for 34 years. I understand the hesitancy to receive the vaccine when prescribed certain medicines for underlying diseases. | Symptoms: Headache, Fatigue, Body Ache, Soreness
