Almost certain Covid-19. Can't get tested, Scunthorpe, England, UK

Scunthorpe, England, United Kingdom

I have been pretty ill for nearly a week now and have all the symptoms of Covid-19. The symptoms come and go, but it has pretty much been a nightmare. I have been told by the NHS that I ‘almost certainly’ have contracted the virus, but they cannot test me me. Simply put, they are not testing people unless you are in severe need or fit in the vulnerable bracket. I have been self-isolating for a week and will continue to do so a week after my symptoms have gone. I started with a cough, before developing a pretty high temperature (39.7C) and finally losing sense of taste and smell - makes dieting way easier, mind. But for me the worst symptoms are persistent headaches, maybe because of the temperature, making isn’t difficult to concentrate, or even sleep. From what I was told from a GP, this is also a common symptom.
