A power outage has knocked out electricity to the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County after an 18-wheeler crashed into a utility pole. The truck was leaving the prison and caught a low-hanging power line, which brought down the pole. According to the Entergy's outage map, the power was out from Old Whitfield Road to Thompson Place.
