Highland Heights, Kentucky, United States

An electrical service disruption affected Highland Heights, parts of Cold Spring, and parts of Wilder on Wednesday morning. According to Duke Energy's outage map, about 3,000 customers in neighborhoods surrounding the Northern Kentucky University campus were without power. The outage began around 6 a.m. and power was restored to the area around 7:30 a.m.
